AI Content Analyzer
™
An AI engine that enables multiple use-cases, such as analysis of course content, skills mapping, and online class pattern analysis.
Institutions generate a staggering amount of data every day, such as course content, student work products, and research documents. However, much of this material is often unstructured or not well organized. Universities stand to benefit greatly if they can harness and refine these untapped resources. To do so, they need to extract structured data from unstructured content to make it more consumable, from search to analytics. This is where AI Content Analyzer comes in.
AI Content Analyzer refers to the orchestration of a series of AI services to uncover latent insights in vast amounts of data. AI Content Analyzer makes it easier to leverage the benefits of AI, whether by enhancing search functionality in course delivery and management, business applications or improving institutional processes through automation.
Conceptually, it is easy to understand how AI Content Analyzer can help any university needing to explore or surface a large amount of information quickly, repeatedly, and accurately. It can save thousands of hours of manual labor. As an example, in the accreditation preparation and review process, AI Content Analyzer enables users to make informed decisions regarding document correlation, allowing them to turn their attention to higher-value activities.
Find below three use-cases where we’ve applied our AI Content Engine to support Higher Education institutions.
Knowledge Gap
™
A cognitive solution that helps identify the GAP between the professed objectives of every course against the latent content of the courses.

-
Does course content align with goals and objectives?
-
Are competencies fully covered and assessed?
-
Is there content that could improve course quality?
-
Is there existing content that could be used in the course development process?
-
These are questions that few, if any, institutions can answer with complete confidence.
This diagram illustrates how the course content, as well as course objectives, are indexed.
Once we have fully searchable and minable content, we can identify areas of opportunity to improve the content being provided to students.

Skills Mapping
™
Cognitive AI Solution that identifies the skills being purportedly generated by a specific course, course description and course material.
The indexing process works similarly to knowledge gap, however in this case instead of comparing the course content against the objectives, it is done against a taxonomic dictionary of skills, allowing the academic teams to pre-identify the skills exposed through the course content.
AI Class Analyzer
™
A cognitive solution that uses virtual class inputs to analyze class delivery and participation patterns.

In brief, AI Class Analyzer, is a systematized analysis of patterns and behaviors from classes taught using MS Teams or any other conference recording solution.
The solution is based on enabling artificial intelligence-based analysis of visual, text, and audio analysis of videos by utilizing a set of prebuilt PowerBI reports to visualize the analysis of content and class participation. (i.e. Verbal/visual participation, Transcription, Key Messages, Using cameras, OCR, Moderation, etc.)
